On March 20–22, 2026, 2026 3rd International Conference on Optoelectronic Information and Optical Engineering (OIOE 2026) was successfully held in a hybrid format in Changchun, China, and via the Zoom meeting platform.

Focusing on the Frontiers of Optoelectronics and Promoting Industry–Academia–Research Integration — OIOE 2026 Successfully Held in Changchun

The 3rd International Conference on Optoelectronic Information and Optical Engineering (OIOE 2026) was held in Changchun, China, from March 20 to 22, 2026, and came to a successful conclusion.

The conference was guided by the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and jointly hosted by Changchun College of Electronic Technology and Changchun University of Science and Technology. It was organized by the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Changchun College of Electronic Technology, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Changchun University of Science and Technology. 

The keynote session was moderated by Mr. Xiu Ligang from Changchun College of Electronic Technology, who introduced the keynote experts present at the conference. Five invited experts — Research Fellow Li Wenhao and Associate Research Fellow Kong Lingsheng from the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Professor Shi Guangfeng and Professor Zhang Peng from Changchun University of Science and Technology; and Assistant Research Fellow Tang Xiansheng from the Laser Research Institute of the Shandong Academy of Sciences — shared their latest research findings and development trends around the theme of "Applications in Optoelectronic Information and Optical Engineering and Related Fields."

In the afternoon oral presentation session, scholars from multiple countries and regions delivered a total of 27 presentations, including 11 on-site and 16 online. The presentations covered a range of cutting-edge research directions, with speakers showcasing their latest experimental data and theoretical results and discussing technical challenges and application prospects in the field. The poster presentation session received a total of 66 academic posters. 

The conference also established awards for Best Paper, Best Poster, and Best Oral Presentation. Based on criteria such as academic innovation, research value, and on-site performance, the review committee ultimately selected 9 award winners and presented certificates to them on site.

This conference marks a brand-new starting point. We look forward to building on the gains of this event and working hand in hand with all parties to continue writing new chapters and creating more achievements at next year's OIOE conference.
